Payment Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted and processed when you place an order through the Velaona online store.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Returns Policy, and Refund Policy.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Depending on your country, region, currency, device, and the payment services currently enabled on our store, available options may include:

  • Major credit or debit cards;

  • Digital wallets;

  • PayPal;

  • Local payment methods; and

  • Other payment options supported by Shopify or our authorized payment providers.

A payment method is available only when it appears as an option during checkout.

Logos or payment icons displayed elsewhere on the website do not guarantee that a particular payment method will be available for every order, country, customer, or device.

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify payment methods without prior notice.

2. Payment Processing

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Payments may be processed by Shopify and authorized third-party payment providers. Depending on the payment method selected, you may be redirected to or asked to authenticate through the payment provider’s website, application, or secure payment interface.

Payment providers may apply their own:

  • Terms and conditions;

  • Privacy policies;

  • Identity-verification requirements;

  • Fraud-prevention procedures;

  • Transaction limits; and

  • Security or authentication requirements.

Velaona generally does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Payment information is transmitted to and processed by the applicable payment provider.

3. Payment Authorization and Capture

When you submit an order, your payment method may first be authorized to verify that:

  • The payment information is valid;

  • The account or card has sufficient available funds;

  • The transaction is approved by the issuer or payment provider; and

  • The payment satisfies applicable security checks.

An authorization may temporarily reduce your available balance even before the payment is finally captured.

Depending on our payment settings and the payment method used, payment may be captured:

  • Immediately after the order is placed;

  • After the order has passed payment or fraud review;

  • When fulfillment begins; or

  • At another time permitted by the applicable payment provider.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that payment has been finally accepted or that the order has been approved for fulfillment.

4. Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from Velaona.

We may review an order before accepting it, including verification of:

  • Payment authorization;

  • Billing and shipping information;

  • Product availability;

  • Delivery eligibility;

  • Purchase limits;

  • Pricing accuracy; and

  • Fraud or security indicators.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when payment cannot be authorized, order information cannot be verified, a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, or the transaction appears unauthorized or fraudulent.

If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method.

5. Prices and Checkout Total

Product prices are displayed on the applicable product page and confirmed during checkout.

Before submitting an order, you will have an opportunity to review the available total, which may include:

  • Product price;

  • Shipping charges;

  • Applicable sales tax or VAT;

  • Discounts;

  • Duties or import charges collected at checkout; and

  • Other charges clearly disclosed before payment.

The final amount presented for confirmation during checkout is the amount you authorize the applicable payment provider to process.

We may correct obvious pricing, calculation, or description errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the affected order where permitted by law.

6. Currency and Exchange Rates

Prices may be displayed in different currencies according to the market, delivery destination, browser settings, or currency selected on the website.

The currency shown at checkout is the transaction currency for your order unless the payment interface clearly states otherwise.

If your payment account uses a different currency, your bank, card issuer, PayPal, digital-wallet provider, or other payment provider may:

  • Convert the transaction into another currency;

  • Apply its own exchange rate;

  • Charge a foreign-transaction fee;

  • Charge a currency-conversion fee; or

  • Apply other account-specific charges.

These third-party fees and exchange rates are controlled by the applicable provider and are not charged or determined by Velaona.

The converted amount shown on a card or account statement may therefore differ from an estimated amount previously displayed in another currency.

7. Taxes, Duties, and Import Charges

Applicable taxes collected by Velaona will be displayed during checkout where reasonably practicable.

Depending on the delivery destination, an order may also be subject to customs duty, import tax, brokerage fees, clearance charges, or other government assessments.

Where these charges are not collected during checkout, they may be collected separately by a carrier, customs authority, broker, payment provider, or other party.

Unless applicable law or the checkout page expressly states otherwise, the customer is responsible for charges imposed by the destination country after the order has been placed.

Please review our Shipping Policy for additional information about international deliveries.

8. Payment Security and Verification

We and our payment providers use security and fraud-prevention measures designed to protect transactions and customer information.

For certain orders, we may request additional verification, including confirmation of:

  • Customer identity;

  • Billing information;

  • Shipping information;

  • Payment authorization; or

  • The relationship between the customer and the payment-account holder.

Verification may delay order processing.

If requested information is not provided within a reasonable period, or if we cannot reasonably verify the transaction, we may cancel the order and release or refund the payment.

You should not send complete card numbers, card security codes, online-banking passwords, or payment-account passwords to Velaona by email or customer-service message.

9. Declined, Failed, or Pending Payments

A payment may be declined, fail, or remain pending for reasons including:

  • Incorrect payment details;

  • Insufficient funds;

  • An expired card;

  • A transaction limit;

  • Issuer restrictions;

  • International-payment restrictions;

  • Failed authentication;

  • Billing-address mismatch;

  • Fraud-prevention review;

  • Network or technical errors; or

  • Restrictions imposed by the payment provider.

If payment is unsuccessful, you may try another payment method shown at checkout or contact your bank or payment provider.

Velaona does not control approval decisions made by a bank, card issuer, digital-wallet provider, PayPal, or another payment provider.

A pending payment does not guarantee order acceptance or shipment.

10. Temporary Authorizations

A failed, cancelled, or incomplete checkout may sometimes appear on your account as a pending authorization.

A pending authorization is not always a completed charge. It may be released automatically according to the rules and processing times of your bank or payment provider.

Velaona cannot directly remove a pending authorization from your account.

If a pending authorization remains longer than expected, contact your bank or payment provider for assistance.

11. Duplicate Charges

If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same order, first review whether one of the transactions is a temporary authorization rather than a completed charge.

If multiple completed charges appear, contact us and provide:

  • Your order number;

  • The email address used for the order;

  • The transaction dates;

  • The amounts charged; and

  • A screenshot or statement excerpt with sensitive account information concealed.

Do not send complete card numbers or security codes.

We will review our payment records and assist with correcting any confirmed duplicate payment.

12. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued according to our Refund Policy.

Unless otherwise required by law, refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order. We generally cannot redirect a refund to a different card, bank account, PayPal account, digital wallet, or other payment method.

If the original card or account has expired, been replaced, or been closed, the bank or payment provider will normally determine how the refund is routed. You may need to contact that provider directly.

After Velaona issues a refund, additional processing time may be required before it appears on your account. Processing times are controlled by the bank or payment provider and may vary.

Differences caused by currency-exchange movements or third-party conversion fees may result in the refunded amount appearing different when converted into your account currency, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Cancellations and Payment Reversals

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after payment has been processed or fulfillment has begun.

If cancellation is approved after payment has been captured, the amount will be refunded according to our Refund Policy.

If payment was only authorized and not captured, the authorization may be released rather than processed as a refund. The time required for the funds to become available is determined by your bank or payment provider.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you do not recognize a charge or believe there is a problem with an order, please contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel an order, stop a shipment, or create an additional right to retain both the product and the disputed funds.

Where a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we may provide relevant transaction records to Shopify, the payment provider, the issuing bank, or another authorized party. These records may include:

  • Order and payment information;

  • Customer communications;

  • Shipping and delivery evidence;

  • Tracking information;

  • Refund records;

  • Website policies; and

  • Fraud or authentication information.

The final decision in a card dispute is generally made by the applicable bank or payment network, not by Velaona.

Nothing in this section limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction.

15. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

You must use only a payment method that you are legally authorized to use.

We may delay, refuse, or cancel transactions reasonably suspected of involving:

  • Stolen payment information;

  • Unauthorized account use;

  • Identity fraud;

  • False billing or shipping information;

  • Deliberate chargeback abuse;

  • Promotional abuse;

  • Reshipping or fraudulent forwarding activity; or

  • Other unlawful conduct.

Where appropriate, we may preserve and disclose relevant records to payment providers, financial institutions, carriers, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities.

16. Buy Now, Pay Later and Installment Services

If an installment or buy-now-pay-later service is offered during checkout, it is provided by the identified third-party provider.

Eligibility, approval, payment schedules, interest, late fees, credit checks, cancellations, and account management are governed by the provider’s terms.

Velaona does not guarantee approval and generally cannot change an installment agreement entered into between a customer and the provider.

Returns and refunds remain subject to our store policies, while adjustment of the installment plan is handled by the applicable provider.

17. Recurring Payments

Unless clearly disclosed on the product page and during checkout, purchases from Velaona are one-time purchases and do not create recurring charges.

If we offer a subscription or recurring-payment product in the future, the applicable price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and other material conditions will be presented before enrollment.

A recurring-payment arrangement will not be created solely because you previously purchased a product.

18. Gift Cards and Store Credit

If gift cards or store credit become available, their use may be subject to separate terms displayed when they are issued or purchased.

Unless required by law:

  • Gift cards and store credit are not redeemable for cash;

  • They cannot be transferred to a bank or payment account;

  • Refunds for purchases made with store credit may be returned as store credit; and

  • Gift-card or store-credit balances cannot be used after cancellation for fraud or unauthorized acquisition.

Applicable expiration and unclaimed-property rules will be observed.

19. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy to reflect changes in payment providers, available payment methods, store operations, technology, or legal requirements.

The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Changes will not unlawfully reduce rights attached to an order accepted before the revised policy took effect.
